Fellow shooters, it's with great respect and sadness that I inform you all that on Tuesday evening 17/1/2012 the legendary George Sckaf passed away.
George has had an up and down battle over the last few months in hospital, but it was a battle we all thought he would win. A harder battle than the ones he often faced on a shotgun range, where he was always in command and with skill and determination would easily overcome his fellow shooters in any event. A truly gifted shooter.
His presence and his words will leave a void on ranges Australia wide.
Our sport and our lives have lost a gentlemen shooter that we could never replace.
